So this book blog might not be turning out how I wanted it. I have been thinking though of changing the purpose of this book club. Instead of all of us reading the same book, we could talk about the different books that we are currently reading. This way we arr not spending enormous amounts of time and money on some book that we might or might not like. Tell me what you think...

Ok so righ now I'm reading Sweet Love by Sarah Strohmeyer
ReplyDeleteit's about this women who has a crappy career, no love life, and issues with her co-workers (sounds just like real life) If you have time Cinderalla Pact is also by her and it was made into a liftime movie.
There a little sappy but a great bedtime read

ReplyDeleteI've actually just finished reading When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris. Each chapter is essentially a satirical essay which I usually love. He actually included a few that weren't necessarily satirical, but rather sad and the last essay/chapter is about four times longer than the rest as it is in diary form. Comparing it to his others, I have to say it's not my favorite (the layout of essays, some topics) but it's up there. If you haven't read any of his work and you'd like something funny, definitely pick up Me Talk Pretty One Day; I would absolutely recommend that one to anybody.
